Creare un account
Aprire la pagina login.ubuntu.com/+login.
Spuntare la voce I am a new Ubuntu One user.
- Inserire il proprio indirizzo email, il proprio nome e una password a scelta.
Se si accettano i termini di utilizzo del servizio, spuntare la voce I have read and accept the Ubuntu One terms of service.
Premere Create account.
L'utilizzo del servizio Ubuntu One prevede l'accettazione dei suoi termini di utilizzo, senza la quale non sarà possibile creare l'account.
Preferenze e configurazione
Modificare l'indirizzo email
Eseguire l'accesso alla pagina login.ubuntu.com.
Aprire la pagina login.ubuntu.com/+emails.
Inserire l'indirizzo email desiderato, quindi premere Add address.
- Accedere alla propria casella di posta elettronica: si riceverà un messaggio col quale sarà possibile confermare la registrazione del nuovo indirizzo email.
Una volta confermato, tornare alla pagina login.ubuntu.com e selezionare il nuovo indirizzo di posta elettronica dal menù Preferred email address, posto nella sezione Personal details.
Se non si riceve l'email di conferma, seguire la stessa procedura indicata al capitolo Recupero password.
Modificare la password
Eseguire l'accesso alla pagina login.ubuntu.com.
Inserire la nuova password sotto le voci Choose password e Re-type password.
Premere il tasto Save changes.
Cancellare l'account Ubuntu One
È possibile cancellare il proprio account Ubuntu One, tuttavia si consiglia di leggere attentamente quanto segue e di valutare attentamente se procedere o meno alla sua eliminazione.
Un account Ubuntu One consente l'accesso ad una grande varietà di siti internet e servizi legati ad Ubuntu. E' necessario comprendere che con la cancellazione del proprio account:
- si perderà l'accesso a questi siti e servizi;
- non sarà possibile recuperarlo in seguito.
Alcuni esempi di siti e servizi a cui è possibile accedere tramite il proprio account Ubuntu One:

Se si decide comunque di rimuovere il proprio account Ubuntu One, accedere alla pagina login.ubuntu.com/+delete e seguire la procedura indicata.
Recupero password
Accedere alla pagina login.ubuntu.com/+forgot_password ed inserire i dati richiesti.
Per recuperare la propria password è necessario accedere all'account email che si è fornito al momento della registrazione ad Ubuntu One. Se si è perso l'accesso alla propria casella elettronica non sarà possibile recuperare la propria password.
Per prevenire questo inconveniente, si consiglia di fornire più di un solo indirizzo email.
